There is actually no requirement to own a Sorare Player Card in the second longest running game that the beta testers have been enjoying in Discord now since March. The rules are simple!
1 — Our previous weekly winner posts up 5 weekend games for everyone to guess the outcomes of.
2 — Just copy/paste and edit in your scores by 19.30 CEST on a Friday.
3 — Prizes for the top 2 each week + if you guess 5 correct scores, the jackpot prize is one of the games scarcest cards, a Unique Player Card!

Our Head to Head channel was recently created to help utilise Player Cards in collections where managers hadn’t selected them for their main SO5 teams.
1 — Propose or Accept to join a Challenge in the Discord Head to Head channel.
2 — Create your team in the Gaming Arena in the Training League, remembering to input the Challenge ‘code’ as your team name.
3 — Check the results to see how you did against your rival(s)
With managers able to propose their own ‘Challenge’ entry rules, this format is proving popular with those that are seeking yet another way to compete using their Player Cards.
Challenge rewards(so far) have been either a nominal ETH amount or a nominated Rare Player Card, both of which come secondary to the bragging rights for claiming the win!

1️⃣ Cards Required to Play: One
Even if you only own 1 Player Card, you can join the Worst Player Game which is also playable within the main Sorare Discord channel. Again, the rules are simple!
1 — Paste the URL of any Player Card in your Collection by 19.30 CEST on a Friday.
2 — Check the results the following Wednesday to see if your player was the worst performing!
Will you choose a Goalkeeper that you expect to be on the receiving end of a drubbing, or maybe a player you think could see ‘Red’ or perhaps even a penalty taker that is due a miss?
There are always a few players each week that have a nightmare performance — the question is, can you select the worst one in advance of it happening?!

Each week on the Sorare Twitter and Instagram accounts you will find ‘Free to Enter’ competitions where you can win Player Cards for your collection.

Summary — Something for Everyone
In a short space of time, the Sorare community has created a number of fun and simple side games that offer additional utility for managers Player Card collections.
The games have also helped to establish different ways to value certain cards as well as intensify rivalries between the games most competitive managers!
Moving forward, I can only see further gaming opportunities being created for managers to leverage their card collections and I can’t wait to help test and get involved as they emerge!
